This is the list of my project – 101 Things in 1001 Days, previously explained in a post of the same name. I learned about this project from the blog in Getrichslowly.org of which I follow the example in their list, but I’ll follow the guide of dayzeroproject.com
The Challenge:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days. The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (i.e. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part). Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple challenges such as New Year’s resolutions or a ‘Bucket List’. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips, study semesters, or outdoor activities.
Basically, you need to create a list of 101 things you want to do in the next three years. The author of the post where I learned about this says that this project is an amazing idea, with lots of potential for self-fulfillment – I cannot have said it better. Here is my list of 101 things in which I will be focusing for the next 1001 day or in years for the next three years:
